Job Duties:
Build, train, motivate, and maintain a quality sales organization. Assist in hiring of sales consultants and conduct in-depth initial training sessions covering dealership selling systems, product knowledge, and professional conduct. Schedule regular training sessions to review and reinforce sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer service skills. Negotiate trade-in deals with customers while maximizing profitability for the dealership. Stay informed about the dealership’s used vehicle inventory, pricing strategies, and sales procedures. Monitor and manage daily sales operations to optimize efficiency and productivity. Research and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences. Cultivate strong relationships with customers to enhance satisfaction and loyalty. Collaborate with the service department to ensure a seamless customer experience post-sale. Establish and enforce policies and procedures that prioritize customer satisfaction. Establish appraisal guidelines and standards for sales consultants to follow. Training:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience Additional education, certifications, or other distinctions are a plus Proficiency in using CRM software to manage customer interactions, track leads, and analyze sales data Proficient in various desktop tools including MS Office Programs (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, SharePoint etc.)
Relevant Work Experience:
3-5+ years’ experience, including 2+ at a leadership level Prior experience in automotive sales with a proven track record of success in selling vehicles and meeting sales targets Experience in a sales management role; proficient in analyzing sales data, identifying trends, and making data-driven decisions to optimize sales performance Breadth and depth of technical or functional expertise in own area of responsibility or department; may be acquiring knowledge of other related areas of departments Developing and implementing processes, methods, and tools to increase efficiency and accuracy #LI-GC1 At Holman, we exist to provide rewarding careers and better lives for employees and their families. Pay:
We offer competitive wages that are commensurate with job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and geographic location, starting in the range of $97,450.00 – $141,300.00 USD annually for full time employees. The annual compensation range is comprised of base pay and bonus earnings.
