Automotive Sales Manager Confidential Bridgeton, NJ 08302 Job description We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Automotive Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in CDJR sales and GM Sales, with a proven ability to manage the sales pipeline effectively. This role requires excellent phone etiquette and a deep understanding of market trends, inventory control, and dealership operations. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing strategies that enhance our sales performance while fostering a collaborative team environment. Responsibilities Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to optimize the sales pipeline. Monitor and enforce all Customer First metrics and brand standards. Manage inventory control processes to ensure product availability aligns with customer demand. Oversee outbound sales efforts, ensuring high levels of customer engagement and satisfaction. Provide training and support to team members on best practices in sales techniques and customer service. Monitor performance and manufacturer metrics as well as prepare regular reports on sales activities and outcomes. Collaborate with other departments to align sales initiatives with overall business objectives. Experience Stellantis and GM experience is a must! Proven experience in sales, with a track record of success in managing a sales team. Strong understanding of phone etiquette and effective communication skills. Familiarity with inventory management practices within a dealership environment is preferred. Experience in developing and maintaining a robust sales pipeline. CDK, Dealertrack, and VinSolutions experience is preferred. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with clients and team members alike.
