The Territory Manager willbe accountable for account-based selling to health care providers(HCPs) who prescribe and influence the treatment for the diseasestates represented in the Lilly portfolio. This includes customersin multiple HCP specialties, as well as representatives in keyhospital accounts. They will be viewed as a credible expert andresource supporting all medicines and appropriate brand patients.
The Territory Manager will be accountable for driving results byembracing Lilly’s suite of models: Lilly Selling Model, LillyCompetency Model and Account Management Model to meet the needs ofcustomers through strong execution. Territory Managers will driveconsistent ways of working within the Regional Healthcare Market.
They will build relationships with key customers to driveutilization and adoption of our medicines for the right patients.
Specific responsibilities include the following:
BUSINESS OWNERSHIP
- Promotes the full portfolio of priority products with multipleHCP specialties.
- Understands the marketplace within theterritory; evaluates and tailors the territory strategy to grow andown business outcomes.
- Navigates the ever-changing healthcareenvironment and payer landscape to increase understanding ofaccounts and be able to impact key stakeholders to become trustedpartners.
- Utilizes appropriate business insight tools, data, andanalytics to identify trends, priorities, opportunities, andpotential obstacles.
- Implements and adopts new technologies,including the integration of AI company-approved tools and otheranalytical capabilities to streamline customer interactions.
- Identifies and advocates for new opportunities to enhance thecustomer experience.
- Models a growth mindset to create positiveexperiences.
SELLING SKILLS / CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE
- Embraces anduses the company’s selling, competency and account managementmodels to elevate performance and drive results.
- Demonstrateshigh learning agility to understand disease state, marketplace,clinical trials, and product label.
- Promotes the BU portfolio byplanning for and engaging in patient-centered dialogues withcustomers.
EXECUTION / RESULTS
- Promotes across BU-portfolio andacross HCP specialties, driving consistent ways of working withinthe Regional Health Care Market to meet customers’ needs.
Appropriately, fully utilizes the Virtual Medical Hub.
- Achievestargeted sales and execution metrics while adhering to companypolicies and procedures.
- Owns the customer relationship forproduct promotion, on-label medical questions, and general marketaccess.
- Holds self-accountability for results and performanceacross all accounts, from individual HCPs to large health systems.
- Builds and maintains relationships with both internal andexternal partners to foster trust and create collaborative success.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Professionalcertification or license required to perform this position ifrequired by a specific state.
- Valid US driver’s license andacceptable driving record is required.
- Qualified applicants mustbe authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

- Demonstrated business ownership skills, selling/customer experienceskills, and execution/results.
- Account based selling experience.
Ability to identify and engage staff members in accounts.
- Stronglearning agility, self-motivation, team focused, and emotionallyintelligent.
- Bilingual skills as aligned with territory andcustomer needs.
- Residence within 30 miles of the territoryboundary.

Actual compensation will dependon a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographiclocation. The anticipated wage for this position is $63,000 -$138,600 Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for acompany bonus (depending, in part, on company and individualperformance).
