Job Description:
Garvey Auto Group, a well-established and reputable automotive dealership in Plattsburgh, NY, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager to help lead our sales team. We are looking for a results-driven individual who is highly motivated, goal-oriented, and possesses a deep understanding of the automotive sales industry. Key Responsibilities:
As a Sales Manager at Garvey Auto Group, you will be responsible for:
Team Leadership:
Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
Sales Strategy:
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and market share.
Training and Development:
Provide training, guidance, and support to sales staff to ensure they are well-equipped to meet their goals and deliver exceptional customer service.
Process Management:
Implement and monitor consistent sales processes to streamline operations, improve efficiency, and enhance the overall customer experience.
Inventory Management:
Work closely with our inventory team to ensure the availability of vehicles that meet customer demands.
Customer Relationship Management:
Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
Reporting and Analysis:
Monitor and report on key performance metrics, sales trends, and market conditions to inform decision-making and strategy adjustments.
Technology Proficiency:
Experience with AutoMate and VinSolutions is a plus, as the ability to leverage these tools effectively will be a valuable asset in the role.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in automotive sales management, with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets. Strong leadership and team-building skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Goal-oriented and motivated to achieve outstanding results. A deep understanding of automotive sales processes and market dynamics. Proficiency in using sales management tools and software, with experience in AutoMate and VinSolutions being advantageous.
Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position with a five-day work week. Saturdays are required to accommodate customer demands.
