We are partnered with a global crypto quantitative trading firm that is seeking a Business Development Director to lead strategic growth initiatives in the global digital asset space. This senior-level role is based in New York and involves working closely with internal teams and external partners to drive commercial success and market expansion.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute business development strategies across key international markets.
Build and manage relationships with exchanges, institutional clients, and ecosystem partners.
Identify new opportunities in trading, OTC, and algorithmic strategies.
Act as a bridge between external stakeholders and internal teams including trading, legal, and product.
Collaborate with leadership on long-term growth plans, including partnerships, investments, and market entry strategies.
Represent the firm at industry events and contribute to thought leadership efforts.
Requirements
8+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or strategy, ideally in digital assets, finance, or technology.
Strong track record of managing complex, high-value partnerships globally.
Deep understanding of trading infrastructure, liquidity, and digital asset markets.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills with executive presence.
Strategic thinker with strong analytical and deal execution capabilities.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage ambiguity.
Experience leading cross-functional initiatives with measurable impact.
Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
