Your Impact:
Director of Sales & Business Development – Passenger Rail (New York Metro) We’re looking for a dynamic, results-driven Director of Sales and Business Development to lead strategic growth in the New York Metropolitan area. You’ll be the driving force behind deepening partnerships with key transit agencies including NY MTA (C&D, NYCT, LIRR, MNR) and PATH. Reporting to the Vice President of Passenger Sales, you’ll craft the future of rail by turning opportunities into long-term success stories. ????

Cultivate and expand high-impact relationships with transit agencies, consultants, and influencers—positioning Siemens as the go-to partner before RFPs even drop. Lead with
Insight :
Anticipate customer needs, influence specifications, and guide them through their capital planning journey. Own the

From market intelligence to contract close, you’ll lead every phase of the sales process with precision and purpose. Be the
Face of Siemens :
Represent us at industry events, conferences, and trade shows—amplifying our presence and uncovering new opportunities. Collaborate to

Partner with global teams across Engineering, Legal, Procurement, Bids, and more to craft competitive, customer-focused solutions.
Drive Performance :
Maintain a sharp, up-to-date pipeline in Dynamics CRM, and deliver accurate forecasts and strategic insights to executive leadership. ?
What You Bring:
A track record of success in program management, business development, or key account leadership—especially in transportation, infrastructure, or public-private partnerships. Deep knowledge of transit systems, rail signaling (CBTC), electrification, or rolling stock—and how they power safety, automation, and capacity. Expertise in public sector procurement and government contracting, especially with New York transit agencies. A collaborative approach and the ability to lead across functions and geographies. A powerful network of industry and government relationships that opens doors and gets results. Exceptional communication skills—you know how to turn complex solutions into compelling stories that resonate with customers! Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees. This is a commission-based sales role with a sales incentive target of 25% of the base salary.
