Executive Director Investor Sales Latam Position Available In New York, New York

Executive Director Investor Sales Latam (New York, NY): Responsible for covering clients and managing relationships with institutional investors based in Mexico, with respect to trading emerging market, European and U.S. fixed income and foreign exchange (FX) products.

Duties include:

Sell solutions based on derivatives and fixed income instruments to Mexican financial institutions; onboard clients and coordinate Master Agreements (ISDA and GMRA) negotiations; request credit line approvals from the credit department; communicate with clients to look for opportunities to trade and build a deal pipeline; and communicate with other sales teams within the organization in order to sell bonds issued by Mexican financial institutions to investors in other countries. Position is based at BBVA Securities, Inc.’s office in New York City, with option to work from home in the NYC area 1 week every 6 months. Travel to Mexico to visit clients required, approximately 6 trips per year.

Salary range:

$190,653 to $360,000 per year.

Requires:

Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, Business Engineering, Finance or Economics and three (3) years of experience in the sale of financial solutions to Mexican institutional investors (any title). Experience can be before, during or after degree and must include:3 years of experience selling/buying Mexican local fixed income instruments to institutional clients based in Mexico.3 years of experience offering and pitching investment options to Mexican insurance companies.3 years of experience offering and pitching financing options to Mexican banks.3 years of experience pricing and quoting Mexican interest rate derivatives to Mexican Institutional Investors.3 years of experience negotiating master agreements for derivatives and repos under Mexico jurisdiction.3 years of experience pricing and booking derivatives in Murex.3 years of experience working with Bloomberg.
