About the
Position:
The Territory Sales Manager isresponsible for selling merchant services products to prospectiveand existing customers of FFB Bank. The Territory Sales Managerwill prospect their sales territory to acquire additional merchantservices leads. The Territory Sales Manager will also partner withbank personnel including commercial lenders, branch managers,personal bankers, and tellers, in helping to generate and respondto referrals of merchant services prospects. The Territory SalesManager will be a subject matter expert for merchant services andwill be responsible for the servicing/support of our merchantservices clients, including troubleshooting and issue resolution.
This position includes a robust commission structure.
EssentialDuties:
- Prospects for new merchant services accounts andcross-sells additional banking products.
- Prepares proposals andperforms sales presentations and product training at clientlocations.
- Prepares client implementation documents. Prepares andmaintains client files.
- Performs follow up with Merchant Servicesreferrals from bank employees.
- Provides telephone support andacts as primary customer service contact for Merchant Servicescustomers to assist with general account inquiries, technicalsupport, billing, and any other special requests.
- Monitorsportfolio reports (low volume, no activity, inventory record).
- Acts as liaison to branch staff with qualifying Merchant servicesprospects and joins them in sales activities to generate newbusiness (call blocks, outbound visits, Bank huddles).
- Performspricing review of regional competitors, maintains prospect databaseand monthly sales reports tracking on-going activity.
- Performsperiodic portfolio reviews to identify revenue opportunities.
- Participates in bank trainings as required specific to the merchantservices department.
- Participates in job specific training andother various Bank training programs, as necessary.
- Maintainscurrent knowledge of internal risk controls and loss prevention,including reporting of suspicious or unusual customer activity perBank policy.
- Demonstrates knowledge of and adherence to EEOpolicy; shows respect and sensitivity for cultural differences;educates others on the value of diversity; promotes workingenvironment free of harassment of any type; builds a diverseworkforce and supports affirmative action.
- Assures compliancewith all Bank policies, procedures and processes, and allapplicable state and federal banking laws, rules, and regulations,and adhere to Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) responsibilities that arespecific to the position.
- Follows policies and procedures;complete administrative tasks correctly and on time, includingmandatory Bank Compliance Training; supports the Bank’s goals andvalues; benefits the bank through outside activities.

Requirements:
- Candidatemust be located in a major city within one of the following Eastregion states: GA, PA, NY, FL, TN, or MA.
- Associate degree orhigher in Business, Finance, Economics, or another related fieldpreferred.
- Minimum 3 years Merchant Services sales experience
- strongly Preferred.
- Minimum 2 years Business Development/Salesrelated experience and/or training preferred.
- Demonstratedability to cross-sell and explain all products and services withconfidence and authority.
- Ability to work with minimal or nosupervision while performing duties.
- Exceptional verbal, writtenand interpersonal communication skills with the ability to applycommon sense to carry out instructions and instruct others, trainpersonnel, write reports, correspondence, and procedures, speakclearly to customers and employees.
- Ability to deal with complexproblems involving multiple facets and variables innon-standardized situations.
- Current driver’s license and avehicle with appropriate insurance coverage if required to drivewhile performing assigned duties and responsibilities.
