With over 30 years in the industry, ABCPOS serves more than 6,000 customers and has 40,000 devices installed. The company’s customer base ranges from restaurants to retailers, e-commerce to franchise to international groups. Job Overview Abacus Business Computer is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Software Sales Manager to lead our sales growth in the restaurant and hospitality sector. This role combines direct sales expertise with people management, requiring a leader who can both drive revenue and build a high-performing team . You will work closely with restaurant owners, franchisees, and decision-makers to deliver tailored software solutions that enhance operational efficiency and customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Execution Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve new business goals and increase market share in the restaurant vertical. Lead from the front by engaging directly with prospects to understand their needs, conduct discovery meetings, deliver live demos, and close deals. Monitor and report on sales performance metrics including pipeline, conversion rates, and revenue targets using Salesforce and other tools. Team Leadership & Coaching Hire, onboard, and mentor a team of Sales Representatives responsible for in-field sales activities and relationship building. Coach team members on effective sales techniques, including prospecting, demoing, and tailoring solutions that solve real operational problems for restaurants. Empower the team to generate leads through trade shows, walk-ins, referrals, and partnerships with local businesses. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with marketing to create compelling campaigns, generate qualified leads, and refine messaging that resonates with restaurant operators. Collaborate with product, implementation, and customer success teams to ensure a seamless experience from sales to onboarding. Provide actionable market and customer feedback to help shape product development and positioning. Industry Expertise Stay up-to-date on restaurant industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in hospitality software. Represent the brand at industry events and contribute to the broader growth and visibility of the company.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in software sales, preferably in the restaurant or hospitality industry. Strong understanding of the restaurant business, including challenges and software solutions. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Proficiency in Mandarin is a plus but not required. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field is preferred.
