Join The Crew We are hiring a Senior Manager of Wholesale Sales Operations to join our Wholesale team and lead the operational backbone of our fast-growing wholesale channel. Reporting to the Director of Wholesale, this role will take Away further by driving flawless execution across order management, inventory allocation, and retailer compliance, in turn ensuring our products reach customers efficiently and accurately while supporting the channel’s rapid scale. What you’ll do as the Senior Manager of Wholesale Sales Operations Order & Systems Management You’ll own end-to-end wholesale order entry and tracking, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across EDI and ERP systems You’ll ensure compliance with retailer routing guides, shipping windows, and labeling requirements to minimize chargebacks You’ll manage SKU setup, product data, pricing updates, and availability across wholesale systems and portals You’ll develop tools and trackers that improve visibility and accountability across the order lifecycle You’ll collaborate with internal and external stakeholders (Sales, Planning, Logistics, 3PLs) to problem-solve order exceptions or fulfillment delays Inventory Allocation & Fulfillment You’ll partner with Planning and Logistics teams to maintain healthy stock levels, balancing wholesale demand with inventory constraints You’ll own the seasonal allocation and delivery calendar, ensuring account expectations are met while protecting broader inventory health You’ll track order status and delivery compliance to proactively identify and resolve issues with our 3PL You’ll help coordinate seasonal sell-in and reorder execution, enabling Account Executives to focus on growth Reporting & Process Improvement You’ll build and maintain reporting dashboards across bookings, shipments, and account performance You’ll identify recurring issues or inefficiencies and implement process improvements to scale the business with speed and accuracy You’ll support post-season analysis and channel recaps, including returns and shipping performance Account Onboarding & Setup You’ll project manage the onboarding of new wholesale accounts, ensuring a seamless and compliant launch experience You’ll create onboarding checklists and timelines for each account, tracking against internal and external deadlines You’ll coordinate cross-functional partners (Sales, EDI, Logistics, Finance) to ensure all systems and processes are set up ahead of time You’ll ensure initial orders ship on-time, in-full, and in compliance — setting a strong foundation for future growth Who you are You have a dedicated amount of experience in wholesale operations, demand planning, or sales support within a fast-paced CPG or retail environment; experience at the Managerial level required in order to drive business goals forward You’re highly organized and detail-oriented, with deep familiarity with systems like Microsoft D365, JOOR/NuOrder, SPS Commerce, or similar You love solving operational puzzles and know how to build a process where there isn’t any You’ve worked with 3PLs and understand how to hold partners accountable to SLAs and timelines You have strong Excel/Google Sheets skills and can translate complex data into actionable insights You’re a team player who thrives in cross-functional environments, and you’re always looking for ways to help others move faster and smarter You’re energized by speed, precision, and the satisfaction of running a channel that just works You’re creative and innovative; you love to build great new things that are fresh and unique while staying on brand You’re agile, and motivated by a fast-paced and ever changing environment You’re passionate about transforming travel for all (but that’s a given!) Compensation:
$135,000.00 annually This role is eligible to participate in Away’s Annual Company Performance Incentive Bonus Plan, the terms of which are determined at the discretion of the company
Equity Grant:
commensurate with level determined at the discretion of the company
