The SVP of Sales position is part of the Senior Leadership team and responsible for the majority of revenue generation activity at Fora. In this role, the SVP will have the opportunity to play an instrumental role in optimizing Sales strategy, further developing customer and market segments, build marketing and sales programs and initiatives, setting revenue targets, and driving daily execution. This role requires a passionate leader with a proven track record of developing and managing a team of professionals, with an entrepreneurial mindset. This role must insure that internal resources are aligned to meet both the customer’s and company’s objectives at all times.
A Day in the Life of an SVP of Sales
Formulate and execute Company’s growth strategy
Optimize existing headcount to balance growth and profitability while achieving unit economics for the company
Lead and deliver P&L and budget process for business line
Partner with cross-functional leaders to breakdown siloes and create efficiencies across the end to end operating model
Own and distribute all Sales reporting from weekly KPIs to Board level
Determine training needs and opportunities through the review of existing sales processes, workflows, reporting, objectives, and feedback from sales staff and management
Work directly with HR and sales management on recruiting and sourcing strategy
Facilitate the screening, interviewing, and hiring process for all new sales hires
Promote a positive, professional, unified, and collaborative work environment
Proactively motivate, inspire, coach, and provide feedback to sales staff
Sales operations expertise — proven ability to design, refine, and implement sales processes and workflows to improve conversion, velocity, and productivity.
Technology & CRM fluency — hands-on experience selecting and deploying sales tools (e.g., Salesforce, outreach platforms, reporting dashboards) and using data to drive decisions.
AI and automation mindset — ideally someone who has used AI tools (like Gong, Clay, Apollo, ChatGPT, etc.) to streamline lead qualification, automate follow-ups, or improve rep effectiveness.
Revenue per rep optimization — track record of increasing revenue and product penetration per rep through training, better systems, and improved GTM alignment.
Strategic cross-functional experience — ability to partner with marketing, product, and revenue operations to align strategy and execution.

What You Have:

Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, education or equivalent experience
10+ years’ experience in Direct Sales/Sales mgmt. combination
Experience running a 50+ person organization
Experience with training techniques to accommodate various learning styles through a blended education model (classroom training, demonstrations, workshops, coaching, e-learning, job shadowing)
Exceptional leadership skills
Excellent time-management, organization, and prioritization skills
Ability to function effectively in a demanding and time sensitive environment
Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Able and willing to adapt to changing priorities and responsibilities
Proficient in MS Office Suite, PowerPoint required
Knowledge of Salesforce
Outstanding verbal, written and presentation skills are a must
