Vice President, Sales & Trading at TD Securities (USA) LLC, New York, NY (F/T)
JOB DUTIES:
Develop an institutional investor base and place U.S. and Canadian money market positions. Ensure positions are within approved limits and maintain and enhance TD’s profile and market share. Gather information to analyze the sales market, to aid in informing investment and sales decisions. Execute detailed analysis and valuation in detailed market reports while providing expert investment recommendations. Identify issues affecting clients and prepare recommended plans of action for investments. Develop deep client relationships and present new investment strategies to clients. Execute trades and secure deals with new clients.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Position requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field, and three (3) years of experience in the job offered, as Associate, or related position involving sales and trading for investment banking. Full term of experience must include each of the following: U.S. and Canadian government debt markets, commercial paper markets, interest rate derivatives markets, and cross currency markets; U.S. and Canadian bank regulations, including OSFI, OCC, and U.S. Federal Reserve; U.S. and Canadian money markets; Short term rates trading, including commercial paper, government securities, and interest rate derivatives; Financial modeling; Liquidity risk management; and, Interest rate management. One (1) year of experience must include each of the following: Asset trading, including short term interest rate trading, G10 high quality liquid asset trading, and G10 fx forwards trading; Issuing short-term wholesale funding in both U.S. and Canadian markets during normal and high stress environments; and Cross currency trading including fx forward and spot fx. Telecommuting may be permitted within commuting distance pursuant to company policy.
SALARY:
$225,000 – $300,000 per year
