We are expanding our team to better serve the diverse communities of New York City—and we are currently seeking a Chinese-speaking Event Sales Manager to help us grow our presence in the Chinese market. About the
Role:
As an Event Sales Manager, you will be responsible for generating leads, booking tours, closing event sales, and providing exceptional customer service from inquiry to contract. We’re looking for someone who not only speaks Mandarin fluently but also deeply understands the traditions and expectations that surround Chinese weddings, birthdays, and other milestone events.
Key Responsibilities:
Proactively identify and pursue new leads, particularly in the Chinese-speaking community Conduct venue tours, answer inquiries, and close event bookings Build strong relationships with clients and maintain excellent communication throughout the planning process Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless event execution Attend community events, expos, or networking opportunities that help us build brand presence in the Chinese market Meet or exceed monthly sales goals
Ideal Candidate:
Fluent in Mandarin Chinese (spoken and written) Deep cultural understanding of Chinese traditions around weddings, birthdays, and family celebrations 2+ years of experience in event sales, hospitality, or a related field (experience at an event venue is highly preferred) Strong interpersonal and communication skills Energetic, self-motivated, and results-driven Familiar with CRM tools and booking systems(Tripleseat) a plus Why Join Us?
