About the role:
As the Senior Director, eVinci Salesyou will manage the eVinci Sales & Market Development Organization for the eVinci product line.
We consist of sales representatives and support staff (such as proposal support) responsible for capturing opportunities to meet overall sales and strategic goals for the eVinci Technologies Team.
You will report to the Vice President – Commerical Operations, and be located in Etna, PA.This is a hybrid role, with 3 days in office.
No relocation or sponsorship is included.
Key Responsibilities:
The Senior Director, eVinci Sales leads and oversees the eVinci Sales & Market Development Organization for the eVinci product line.
This position is located in Pittsburgh (Etna), PA.No sponsorship is provided.
You will lead teams in efforts to develop capture strategies working with product management, engineering, and account managers from the initial identification of opportunities through negotiation and finalization of contracts across multiple eVinci application spaces.
The Senior Director, eVinci Sales develops creative contracting and partnership strategies that improve success for all partners. The eVinci Sales & Market Development team establishes relationships with customers. Also, you will oversee the development of training plans for the Sales & Markets Organization to ensure the team maintains the appropriate technical and sales-related knowledge to fulfill the roles. You will capture opportunities to meet eVinci goals which includes the development of opportunities to increase Westinghouse’s market share in existing and emerging markets.
Manage the eVinci sales & market development organizationLead organization responsible for working with customers through execution of technical sales activities and maintaining positive customer relationships. This includes identification of customers in multiple market segments and applications of eVinci, and may include funding customers such as national, state, provincial or other governments (with Government Affairs and Westinghouse Government Services)Close deals to ensure orders are received to meet goals such as orders targets for the eVinci team.
Responsible for proposal strategy supporting commercial customers, government customers (through WGS), and government funding opportunities such as U.S. Department of Energy Funding Opportunity Announcements (FOAs)Work with other Westinghouse teams including account leaders, engineering, marketing, legal, finance, product management, manufacturing, communications, government services and government affairs to improve product growth and achieve sales goalsOversee the opportunity pipeline and sales cycle process and improving it, including the development of the capture strategies starting with the bid/no-bid process through contract closure. This includes development of creative contracting and partnership strategiesDevelop relationships with partners in target market segments and geographies that create introduction and adoption of the eVinci product line. Partners may include customers, governmental entities (federal, provincial/state, local), regulatory bodies, industry groups, indigenous peoples, universities, and needed partnersEnsure governance (Limits of Authority or LOA) process is managed and approvals obtained by all partners to support the offer capture strategy.
Lead negotiations with customer and funding partners to guide agreement on all WEC partnersEnsure sales goals are met (OE, pipeline)L ad change and create a high standard of performance throughout the organizationAssess, managing personnel (including use of measurements) within the sales organization that supports the sales process needs in both technical and sales training plans focused on business segment needs.
Develop and mature processes that support efficiency and scalability for the eVinci sales and market development organization.
Travel to conferences, customers, government offices or other relevant locations to facilitate meetings, maintain relationships and engagementEnsure depth of understanding across the eVinci team of the landscape, markets, customer needs and competitors (including non-nuclear competitors)Monitor and maximize market trends including regional and national energy price fluctuations for decarbonization and energy availability challenges.
Qualifications:
10+ years of experience working with Nuclear TechnologyBachelor’s degree in science/engineering/businessExperience in customer-centric or new product rolesDevelop creative solutionsExperience working in a collaborative matrix environmentAdvocate and negotiateGeneral knowledge of nuclear technologies related to advanced reactorsSales or market-related experience or educationLeadership experienceExperience in strategic deployment and market developmentIdentify and maximize opportunities, pivot, and create an environment for learning and improvement#LI-HybridWhy Westinghouse?
