Territory Business Manager (TBM) is responsible for sellingAlkermes products in the Keystone Central territory and supportingpromotional efforts. Ideal candidates should be proven salesachievers and live in the territory. This will be done by havingthorough product, disease state and market knowledge and soundselling skills. He/she will utilize available resources to helpeducate healthcare providers. Finally, he/she will use theiranalytical ability to determine appropriate targets and will useapproved resources accordingly. Responsibilities The TBM willdemonstrate a strong understanding of all aspects of Alkermesproducts, related disease states and related products in themarketplace The TBM will demonstrate strong selling skills throughthe use of approved sales aids, approved studies and reprints andthrough superior communication and listening skills with targetedhealthcare providers. He/she will use selling skills thatdemonstrate competent use of all facets of the Alkermes sellingmodel. He/she will demonstrate an ability to gain agreement forincrease product use with appropriate patients from targethealthcare providers The TBM will demonstrate strong territorymanagement skills by identifying and calling on appropriate numbersof healthcare provider targets with the required frequency toassure proper usage of Alkermes products. He/she will continuallydevelop, review, update and maintain healthcare provider targetlists based on the latest information and data He/she will utilizeall available resources and programs (samples, Promotional SpeakerPrograms, etc.) to increase their business. He/she is prepared todiscuss all aspects of territory business with District BusinessLeader (DBL) at any time The TBM will develop business plans asrequired by the DBL and will perform all administrative tasksrequested in a timely, accurate and truthful manner The TBM willexercise fiscal control of operational expenses (car, gas, officesupplies, telephone, postage, lodging, meals, and entertainment)The TBM will demonstrate an ability to work productively withindividuals in related positions including but not limited to otherrepresentatives, DBL, RMDs, Marketing, and Key Accounts andheadquarter personnel The TBM will abide by all Alkermes policiesand regulations regarding promotional compliance, and sampleaccountability compliance
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:
BA/BS is required 2 years successful pharmaceutical/biotech salesexperience required Must live within the geography ofresponsibility Drivers license must be in good standing Must beable to demonstrate or secure appropriate credentialing, as may berequired by healthcare providers for physical access to theirfacilities
Preffered Qualifications:
5 years successfulpharmaceutical/biotech sales experience preferred Specialty salesexp preferred Demonstrated superior organizational andadministrative skills Demonstrated past sales performance/successStrong analytical, strategic and influencing skills Some overnighttravel may be required About Us Why join Team Alkermes?
