Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Director of IFM Solution Development to lead the design of cost-effective, operationally sound facilities management solutions aligned with client objectives. This role supports new business development and renewals, overseeing multiple large-scale, multi-service proposals simultaneously. The ideal candidate is a strategic, client-facing leader who collaborates with sales, SMEs, operations, and executives to develop compelling, growth-oriented solutions for ESFM. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership Travel required ~50% Lead strategy sessions to develop win themes and proposal approach Shape and execute strategies to improve solution development effectiveness Solutions Process Management Own the end-to-end solutions process and lead cross-functional working sessions Review RFPs to evaluate spend, scope, and SLAs Participate in opportunity assessments and define winning strategies Collaborate to build comprehensive solutions: labor models, savings commitments, service improvements, transition plans Vet proposals with stakeholders across sales, ops, transition, procurement, and finance Deliver clear, compelling proposal content, Q&A responses, and presentations Costing & Financial Analysis Create detailed cost estimates using internal pricing models Perform financial analysis, benchmarking, customer baselines, and bridge modeling Leverage expertise in IFM (hard/soft services) to craft competitive, tailored solutions Benchmark & Data Development Contribute to internal benchmarking efforts Analyze and interpret large datasets; clean, structure, and extract insight from data to inform decision-making On-Site Data Collection Conduct site visits to gather data for solutioning and proposal development Relationship Building Partner with sales to align on RFx strategy, client interaction plans, and proposal execution Represent solutioning team in client meetings, site visits, and presentations Qualifications Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field 5-10 years in IFM solution development or operations Strong knowledge of IFM (Integrated Facilities Management) structures and delivery models Communication & Presentation Excellent written and verbal skills Confident presenting complex topics to diverse audiences Client-facing experience required Financial Acumen Advanced knowledge of financial concepts, cost modeling, and savings analysis Skilled in analyzing and articulating financial impacts in proposals Analytical & Reasoning Skills Strong quantitative and problem-solving capabilities Able to interpret complex documents and navigate multiple decision paths Technical Proficiency Expert in Microsoft Office; Excel skills required Strong project management, prioritization, and attention to detail Adept at navigating ambiguity, filling process gaps, and proactively resolving issues This role demands strategic vision, executional excellence, and the ability to drive high-impact proposals that win business and advance ESFM’s goals.
