This position will cover the Midwest salesterritory. To be successful in this position, you need to havesales experience in a manufacturing environment, as well asautomation. You’ll be maximizing and growing revenue and profitsselling our solutions to existing customers and acquiring newbusiness. The Regional Sales Manager role is also supported byInside Sales and Business Development roles.

PRIMARY DUTIES &RESPONSIBILITIES

Create and implement effective direct and partnersales strategies; forecast, report, and keep sales cases updated inthe CRM; drive issues to achieve sales objectives. Maintainconsistent communication and timely follow-up with customers andprospects and be available and responsive to customers’ needs.

Report market needs to product lines and management. Manage tomeet/exceed monthly, trimester, and annual sales targets toincrease profitable sales and build long-term relationships withcustomers. Maintain sales volume, product mix, and selling price bykeeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economicindicators, and competitors. Meet regularly with existingcustomers, partners, and new prospects in sales territory tounderstand their evolving business needs and position company’soffering to meet surfaced needs. Execute negotiations withcustomers and partners to close contracts. Continuously expandcustomer understanding and use of our company’s offerings andcapabilities.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Hungry for business,growth, and success both personally and for our company. Minimum of5 years of work experience in a manufacturing environment, as wellas an automation solution or system sales business.

Technicalknow-how:

experience in sales in the manufacturing automationindustry and processes and/or technology/metal industry and/ormachine tool building and/or robotics industry. Specific knowledgeof ERP, scheduling, automation, tool management, and programmanagement in a manufacturing environment. A Bachelor’s degree orMaster’s degree from an accredited university is preferred, but notrequired.

SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED

Positive and business-oriented”can do” attitude. Willingness to set challenging targets andachieve them. Has the ability to cooperate, drive negotiations, andclose orders. Successfully thrive under high pressure situationswhile maintaining flexibility, precision, and thoroughness.
