This position reports into the National Director of BusinessDevelopment and is the primary regional point of contact forliaising with key opinion leaders in the Endoscopy space. The roleof the Business Development Manager is to understand and define ourinternal and external endoscopic customers’ clinical needs andassist with the development and implementation of clinical studiesand education solutions. Additionally, this role builds andnurtures relationships with clinical customers as it relates toparticipating in clinical studies and broader collaboration withthe marketing organization. The incumbent is responsible forsupporting the product management group including, but not limitedto market research, product development, product launch, productchanges, post-market surveillance, and product obsolescence.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Build and nurturerelationships with key opinion leaders (clinical and economic) at apredetermined number of accounts.
- Develop new relationships withstrategically important accounts, coordinate introductory meetingswith Fujifilm leadership (i.e. road shows).
- Manage relationshipwith select society(s) to identify hands on opportunities as wellas other avenues for broader collaboration.
- Create an annualstrategic plan, at a regional level, for each key opinion leader toinclude potential clinical study engagement, educational/speakingopportunities, hands on and educational symposiums and otherengagement activities.
- Identify and help evaluate opportunitiesto support clinical research and studies.
- Work closely with theHealth Care Practitioner’s (HCP’s) at predetermined number ofaccounts and Product Marketing to create white papers or techniquespotlights. Additionally, work with HCP’s as it relates to customereducational events (hands on courses, etc.) to increase awarenessof Fujifilm’s technologies.
- Manage and facilitate key hands-oncourses by engaging with the HCP leads to align on objectives andensure equipment needs to support desired training outcomes. Thisalso includes managing and coordinating Fujifilm attendance,communication, and hands-on facilitation.
- Establish routinevisits to the account for pre-arranged meetings/discussions onabove-mentioned initiatives.
- In some instances, this individualmay be asked to support in servicing or supporting a key account inthe role of a clinical specialist (if the organization is resourceconstrained).
- Partner with the product management group includingbut not limited to all phases of the product lifecycle (e.g.,product development, product launch, product changes, and productobsolescence).
- Define the clinical and economic needs of ourcustomers (i.e. ASC and hospitals, and academic centers, communityhospitals etc.) based on feedback from the field and customers.
- On a quarterly basis, provide updates on strategic and tacticalinitiatives as well as team objectives, by account, to NationalDirector of Business Development.
- Understand the healthcaresystems, market dynamics, and competitive landscapes in the variousgeographies within the United States.
- Comply with all applicableU.
S. Food and Drug Administration (U.S. FDA) medical deviceregulatory requirements, applicable
ISO 13485
standard requirementsand all other applicable laws, regulations, and standards.
- Complywith and pass all requirements for vendor credentialing as part ofgaining access to hospitals and facilities to perform assigned jobduties.
Qualifications :
- BA/BS or equivalent, preferably with adegree related to healthcare or biology or equivalent experience.
Masters Degree preferred.
- Minimum 8 years in flexible endoscopyfield and strong clinical background with a Bachelor’s Degree or 6years of experience with a Master’s degree.
- Minimum 8 years ofmedical device industry experience in a clinical capacity (clinicaldemonstration and education) with a Bachelor’s Degree or 6 years ofexperience with a Master’s degree.
- Knowledge / familiarity withgastroenterology, pulmonology, urology, and/or gynecology relatedproducts and procedures is desired
- Prior business developmentdesired but not required.
- Strong customer orientation.
- Strongcommunication skills- presentation, written, and oral.
- Must havestrong interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability tocommunicate with a diverse range of individuals.
- Ability todevelop and maintain strong business relationships with key opinionleaders, strategic accounts, and colleagues at all levels.

Physical Requirements:
The position requires the ability to performthe following physical demands and/or have the listed capabilities:

Travel :
- Frequent travel up to 70% of the time, including evenings andoccasional weekends.
