xMatters, an Everbridge Company, is a leading provider ofdigital service availability and incident response solutions, andis seeking a Director of Sales to lead a regional team ofhigh-performing Account Executives focused on driving revenuewithin our enterprise and mid-market customer base. This role isinstrumental in helping organizations enhance operationalresilience by expanding the adoption of the xMatters platformacross complex, cross-functional teams, including IT, DevOps, andSRE. What youll do
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of AccountExecutives to achieve and exceed quarterly and annual revenuegoals.
- Recruit, onboard, and mentor top sales talent, fostering ahigh-performance, customer-first culture.
- Establish and manageKPIs tied to pipeline generation, opportunity progression, andforecast accuracy to ensure predictable revenue growth.
- Drive arepeatable, insight-led sales process rooted in discovery,qualification, and value-based solution selling.
- Collaboratecross-functionally with Customer Success, Marketing, Product, andSales Engineering to remove roadblocks and accelerate deals.
- Develop and implement tools and strategies for performancetracking, deal coaching, and continuous improvement.
- LeverageSalesforce and other sales tools to track pipeline health, salesactivities, and forecast accuracy.
- Partner with key stakeholdersto ensure customer needs are met throughout the pre and post-salelifecycle.
What youll bring:
- 5 years of experience managinghigh-performing, quota-carrying SaaS sales teams (minimum 5 reps).
- Proven success growing revenue within existing accounts—ideallyin a “land and expand” or customer expansion model.
- Experienceselling enterprise SaaS platforms with multiple product lines andcomplex buyer ecosystems.
- Familiarity with selling into technicalteams (e.g., IT Ops, DevOps, Engineering, SRE) and navigatingenterprise procurement cycles.
- Demonstrated ability to scaleteams and processes in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Exceptional leadership and coaching skills, with the ability tomotivate and inspire.
- Strong business judgment and strategicthinking, with the ability to assess opportunities and risksquickly.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholdermanagement skills.
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities andworking cross-functionally.
- Willingness to travel up to 30%.
Thereasonably estimated salary for this role at Everbridge ranges from$118,000 – $140,000 and may also include variable compensation.
Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidatesskills, qualifications, and experience.
