The Global Sales Director will be responsible for mentoring,developing, and overseeing a team of global sales representativesacross a portfolio of global accounts to SHI. The Sales Director isresponsible for working with all team members to expand SHI’sfinancial footprint within existing and future customers to includea broader set of products and services that will optimize the valueSHI brings to our customers and ensure our long- term success witheach of them. The Sales Director will be responsible for developingand building strong executive relationships within all of theiraccounts, maintaining an independent line of communication to ourclients to ensure a strong and successful partnership. The GlobalSales Director will report to the Global Sales Vice President -Pharma. This position is a remote position however may be requiredto report to SHI Headquarters in Somerset, NJ as required forbusiness needs as determined by SHI management. ResponsibilitiesInclude but not limited to:
- Build strong Executive relationshipsin both Procurement and IT in all of the accounts assigned to yourteam
- Collaborate with sales team and be seen as a leader tointernal organizations, customers, and business partners alike
- Mentor and help to develop the selling and customer relationsskills of those sales and support representatives on your team
- Learn the customer business needs and develop technology solutionsthat will help achieve corporate objectives, department outcomesand personal goals
- Partner with sales senior leadership andvendor partners, using company solution practices to provide valueto our customers by establishing strong relationships andcontinually looking to improve how we work together
- Execute salesstrategies and initiatives defined by Business Unit Leadership toachieve financial targets and upsell, cross sell to customer base
- Develop a quarterly and annual plan for growth by establishingobjectives for individual reps and their customers and the businessas a whole
- Effectively communicate the value proposition throughproposals and presentations to customers
- Participate andvolunteer in industry specific conferences to speak on thecompany’s solutions and offerings
- Remain current on newtechnology, trends and market behavior by self-study,certifications, partner training and company sponsored trainingQualifications
- Bachelors Degree or relevant work experiencerequired
- Minimum 4 years direct selling experience on majoraccounts deemed large, complex and/or international in scope
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Sales Director role managing ateam of global sales representatives and/or major global accountsRequired Skills
- Ability to communicate, present and influence alllevels of the organization
- The ability to work effectively withinall levels of an organization, both internally and externally

- Thisrole requires global travel and frequent travel within the U.S. anapproximate total of 50% Additional Information
- The estimatedannual pay range for this position is $250,000 – $350,000 whichincludes a base salary and commission. The compensation for thisposition is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience,and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual toindividual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical,vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
