Their products are used in a variety of industries, includingpersonal care, food, pharmaceutical, household products,lubricants, and industrial applications. The company focuses onsustainable, bio-based solutions and emphasizes environmentalresponsibility, innovation, and quality in its operations.
Description Key Responsibilities:
Identify, develop, and grow newopportunities and new customers within assigned sales territory.
Grow overall sales in the assigned territory. Use CRM, salesforecasting and strategic planning to ensure the sales andprofitability of products, lines, or services. As well as analyzingbusiness developments and monitoring market trends. NegotiatePrices and terms of sales with new and existing customers. Engagewith all existing customers in assigned territory. UnderstandCustomers and prospect buying centers. Participate in all local andregional bodies associated with relevant industry associations.
Examples include (but not limited to) Personal Care, Society ofTribology and Lubricant Engineering, Cleaning Industry, Food, andPharma. Coordinate or participate in promotional activities ortrade shows, working with developers, advertisers, or productionmanagers, to market products or services. Consult with the SalesManager and Business Managers to gain advice regarding the types ofproducts or services expected to be in demand. Using all sourcesavailable identify prospects. Examples (but not limited to thefollowing) trade associations, output from marketing campaigns,contacts at conferences, asking customers for leads and referencesold customers. Contact all leads and understand their needs andbuying center and develop and close on new opportunities for PeterCremer. Collaborate with colleagues to exchange information, suchas selling strategies or marketing information; Answer customers’questions about products, prices, availability, or credit terms.
Quote prices, credit terms, or other bid specifications. Emphasizeproduct features based on analyses of customers’ needs and ontechnical knowledge of product capabilities and limitations.
Diligently maintain accurate and current customer records, usingautomated systems, including but not limited to CRM system. Preparesales contracts for orders obtained and submit orders forprocessing. Select the correct products or assist customers inmaking product selections, based on customers’ needs, productspecifications, and applicable regulations. Profile Requirements:
B.A. or B.S degree in aBusiness-related or STEM related discipline or equivalentcombination of experience and education. At least 2 to 3 years ofexperience in a marketing or sales position. Must reside withassigned geographic region. Territory could be located in thefollowing regions: Northeast Working knowledge of oleo chemicalproducts and chemical services, such as flaking and pastilles.
Travel for customer visits within the assigned territory 3 – 4 daysper week; up to 3-4 weeks per month. Strong ability to createtechnical white papers and documentation. Experience working withcosmetic, pharmaceutical, personal care, pet food, food, or relatedentities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills toclearly articulate complex technical concepts. Self-motivated andable to work independently to achieve sales goals. Stronganalytical and problem-solving skills to address client needseffectively. Flexible and adaptable to a dynamic marketenvironment. Collaborative mindset with the ability to workeffectively with cross-functional teams.
