Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Catering to join our team at our location in Hilton Head Island, SC. The Director of Catering will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our catering operations, including planning and executing events, managing staff, and ensuring exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement catering sales strategies to achieve revenue goals Manage all aspects of catering operations, including menu planning, pricing, and execution of events Hire, train, and supervise catering staff Collaborate with clients to create customized event packages Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and resolve any issues that may arise Maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers Monitor and analyze catering sales and performance metrics
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in catering or event planning Proven track record of meeting sales targets and delivering high-quality events Strong leadership and communication skills Excellent organizational and time management abilities Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or related field Knowledge of food and beverage industry trends
