Position Overview:

Rosemary & Rye Catering is looking to add an experienced and ambitious Catering Sales Manager to join our growing team in Charleston, SC. This individual will report to the Catering Director and is responsible for inquiry follow-up, account management, and building client relationships. In addition to salary, this role includes uncapped commission on all bookings made by the Sales Manager, as well as a lead generation bonus program. Responsibilities Include but not limited to… Build business relationships within assigned market segments Actively prospect for new business opportunities via cold calling, networking, and other methods Respond to customer inquiries quickly and appropriately Create various client-facing documents such as proposals, contracts, and invoices accurately and in a timely manner Effectively track development of proactive and reactive leads Maintain accurate records of sales activities in CRM software in accordance with company standards Occasionally work nights and/or weekends depending on individual client and business needs Qualifications 1-3 years experience in direct-to-customer sales in hospitality or a related industry Previous catering sales experience ( Preferred ) CRM Experience Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or Hospitality ( Preferred ) Strong verbal and written communication skills ( Required ) Excellent organizational skills, including time management, and an acute attention to detail Benefits Health insurance, vision, and dental PTO, plus paid holidays To help our new Sales Manager thrive in this role, initial training will be provided, but previous sales experience, ambitious work ethic, solid organizational & communication skills are a must.
