The Position:
The Market Development Liaison is assigned a geographic territory and is responsible for driving market growth and business development within the healthcare sector. This role involves working closely with rheumatologists and advanced practice providers, referring providers/practices, Articularis practice leaders and central services leaders, etc. to meet goals. The market development representative represents and promotes Articularis in various networking events and ensures the organization’s presence in the market grows consistently.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Organize and participate in networking events, such as lunch-and-learns, ‘meet the doctor’ sessions, and speaking engagements. Build and nurture relationships with referring physicians, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders in the market. Drive attendance and engagement at events to promote brand awareness and service offerings. Organize and participate in networking events, such as lunch-and-learns, ‘meet the doctor’ sessions, and speaking engagements. Develop a deep understanding of the local healthcare market, competitors, and industry trends. Utilize market research and data to identify opportunities, threats, and growth areas. Ensure a high level of patient satisfaction by obtaining feedback, relaying concerns and collaborate with internal teams to improve service offerings. Work closely with practice teams to understand needs and market appropriately. Referring physician satisfaction – foster strong relationships with referring physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure satisfaction. Proactively address physician concerns and feedback to maintain strong working relationships and continued referral business. Drive initiatives to increase market share, aiming for month-over-month growth. Monitor competitive activity, identify potential market opportunities, and implement strategies to capture new business. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of activities using CRM tools and regularly report on market share growth, outlining successes and areas for improvement. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Healthcare Management or a related field (preferred) 2+ years of experience in healthcare market development/sales/business development required Proven ability to implement sales strategies, negotiate and close deals Knowledge of healthcare industry including familiarity with MSO offerings Excellent communication skills, verbal and written Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent presentation skills EEO/AA-M/F/disabled/protected veteran Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions
