Overview:

The Club Event Sales Manager’s primary responsibilities are to sell and market the Segra Club as a 365-days-a-year private event venue, and also be a key contributor in executing both private events in the Club and other non-gameday RiverDogs events. Management and Individual Contributor Job Duties
Private Event Sales
This position will function as the primary seller of private events in the Club year-round, responsible for filling the space and selling food and beverage packages. In this role, you will be charged with prospecting, networking, making outbound (cold) calls, and formulating and achieving a strategy for driving rental business in the Club.
This position will also work hand-in-hand with other team members to finetune the Club’s marketing plan to maximize sales opportunities.
Assist with event execution and client communication throughout the booking and event-executing processes.
Manage the private events CRM system and mine database for leads. RiverDogs-Produced Events
Help to manage the overall ballpark calendar, and maximize revenue by targeting RiverDogs-produced events throughout the year
Attract sponsors, lead marketing efforts, sell tickets, work with vendors, and execute non-baseball events such as annual Golf Tournament, 5K Run, Oldtimers Softball Game, etc.

Qualifications:

College degree
Experience in event sales, specifically upscale private events
Experience in executing food and beverage service in a catering or events setting
Superior communication skills a must
Exceptional customer service skills required
