The primary purpose of this role is to serve as a high-performing sales professional focused on converting inbound criminal defense leads into signed clients. This position is responsible for answering incoming potential client calls, qualifying prospects, and using persuasive communication and closing techniques to secure their commitment to the firm. By combining excellent customer service with strong sales acumen, the role ensures every prospective client receives a compelling and professional intake experience that leads to conversion. What you’ll be doing: Ethical compliance with the SC Rules of Professional Conduct.

Lead client interactions:

Manage inbound and outbound communications with prospective clients by phone, email, and in person, setting a professional, confident, and empathetic tone from each interaction. Convert qualified leads at a high percentage: Effectively guide qualified prospects through the decision-making process to secure signed representation. Evaluate and position the firm’s value: Quickly assess prospective cases and communicate how the firm can meet the client’s needs, emphasizing strengths, expertise, and outcomes.

Drive onboarding with urgency:

Complete necessary paperwork and initial file setup swiftly to finalize the client relationship.

Proactive follow-up:

Maintain ownership of pending leads, ensuring timely and strategic follow-up until resolution. Accurately secure fees and enter client information into Litify.?? Follow instructions and compliance with policies and procedures.??? Attends required morning and monthly meetings.? Performs other job duties and responsibilities as assigned.?

Who you are:

High School Diploma or GED (required). Minimum 2 years of experience in a sales-focused role (inbound or outbound), with a proven ability to guide leads to decision-making and close opportunities (required). Experience in the legal industry (preferred but not required). Strong interpersonal, verbal communication, and persuasive verbal and writing skills. Ability to confidently lead conversations, address objections, and secure commitment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
