Sales Manager:
Salary is $85k – $100k/yr depending on experience and capabilities. Mentor, train, motivate, and develop team members to be successful with sales. Create successful Key Performance Indicators to measure and manage the sales team and our sales process. Ensures that all current and potential customers experience the company’s Best Practices and excellent customer service. Collaborates with Management to build and cultivate relationships with all potential customers to drive growth and success of the business. Supervise Inside Sales Reps to ensure high quality customer service standards, meeting sales goals, improving sales techniques. Overcomes obstacles and problem solves to build long-term customer relationships. Creates a positive work environment, embracing / supporting directives from management. Ensures full understanding of all products and has a continued awareness of the most current information available and design trends. Supports all efforts and initiatives across all business channels to maximize company sales growth and profitability. Work with customers, including builders, designers, and homeowners, to sell a wide range of products, which may include lighting, appliances, high end fixtures and cabinetry Assist customers, both by appointment and walk-ins, while utilizing suggestive sales techniques and handling complaints timely and accurately Maintains awareness and demonstrates a fundamental knowledge of computers, systems, and programs relevant to the position. Continually improve sales skills and product knowledge to promote a professional image in the field Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) The ideal candidate must be confident in their ability to professionally communicate extensive product knowledge in both verbal and written form. Previous luxury retail furniture store or related field experience (2+ years) Incoming phone sales experience Excellent Computer Skills – Efficient Typing, Word, Excel proficiency is ideal Fishbowl inventory software experience preferred Experience in visual merchandising Interior design and fashion sense Professional appearance Take pride in your work.
