Location Manager Purpose of Role:

The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving salesperformance, achieving profit targets by identifying new businessopportunities, and developing relationships with existingcustomers. This role will also focus on delivering exceptionalcustomer service to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction andsales conversion. The Sales Manager will play a crucial role inproject estimating, ensuring accurate, competitive, and profitableestimates for potential opportunities.

Main Responsibilities:
External Sales:

Generate profitable new business using market data, prospecting,and orchestrating client resources. Identify and generate inquiries for projects, promoting fullproject and service management capabilities. Identify key decision-makers in target organizations and leverageopportunities for cross-selling and upselling services. Increase customer contact to build a new user base and grow marketshare. Lead or support customer/site visits and company presentations tostrengthen relationships and provide comprehensive customer supportfrom negotiation to sale and delivery. Build long-term, productive, and mutually beneficial relationshipswith new customers through multiple channels. Interpret customer engineering requirements, survey sites, andcreate inquiry data. Maintain technical competence, service knowledge, local industryawareness, and understanding of regulatory issues affectingcustomers. Provide quality service to internal and external customers whileupholding the company’s values. Report sales performance and prospects to the Location Managerusing the agreed framework. Ensure an efficient hand-over to Operations once an order issecured. Update internal customer relationship systems in a timelymanner. Provide customer service support during and after contracts andparticipate in “Lessons Learned” sessions. Learn and adhere to company processes to ensure accuracy andefficiency in all tasks.

Estimating:

Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to developaccurate and detailed estimates for project proposals. Analyze project requirements, specifications, and customer needs toproduce precise cost estimates. Research and evaluate materials, labor, and equipment costs toensure competitive pricing. Present estimates to clients and stakeholders, explaining therationale and addressing inquiries. Continuously refine estimating processes to improve efficiency andaccuracy. Monitor market trends, pricing fluctuations, and industry standardsto maintain competitive pricing strategies.

Experience and Qualifications Required:

Solid sales or contract management experience, particularly in theproduction equipment installation environment. Proven track record of identifying and winning new business in aservice-oriented business. Active knowledge of mechanical/installation engineering projectsand processes. Experience in estimating, with the ability to analyze and producedetailed project cost breakdowns. Experience using negotiation and influencing skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and internal systems. Willingness to travel as required. #M1
