The Area Manager with operations in assigned district by ensuring business are in line with branch financial goals by managing job budgets and costs associated to area of direct responsibility.

Staff & Management Essential Functions:
Have a working knowledge of P&L statements.
Have familiarity with the terms of customer agreements and financial budgets.
Maintain appropriate level of expenditures.
Assist operational teams with maintaining labor, supply and expenses to budget provided. When additional expenses are required, discuss with district manager for approval. No discretionary spending without PRIOR approval of District Manager.
Assumes responsibility for covering customer accounts as required to support vacancies, vacations and holiday replacement coverage.
Execute Safety programs follow-through by Branch Safety Coordinators to ensure compliance with all safety policies and zero incidents. Ensure that company policy and all safety requirements are administered properly. Ensure both you and your supervisors investigate immediately (24 hours) and thoroughly all work-related accidents.
Assist operational teams with reporting of accidents involving personnel, vehicles, public liability, property damage and fidelity claims.
Review workers compensation claims relevant to area of responsibility to ensure proper handling
Ensure company standards are met in compliance with the operations and servicing contractual obligations to customers within specified budget of labor and expense.
Reviews daily labor for assigned customer accounts and will assist district manager with educating project managers and supervisors on payroll procedures.
Responsible for adhering to and enforcing established company policy and making sure assigned subordinates do likewise.
Cultivate relationship with customers to ensure district meets service contract requirements and ensure customer retention.
Must have demonstrated leadership skills to develop employee and supervisory personnel.
Carry out both positive recognition and disciplinary action as needed, and train subordinates as needed.
Execute district sales plan by working closely with district manager and sales teams for achieving targeted current customer growth and new business.
Must know the city, state and federal laws and regulations that affect company business and know what licenses are required to operate the business.
Perform all other duties as assigned or requested.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in facilities management space.
Minimum of 3years of experience in a service-oriented environment.
Minimum of 1 years of sales-marketing experience.
Must be able to prepare documents using Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Bachelor’s degree preferred or a combination of education and experience.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Must have experience in a customer focused environment.
Proven ability to work with and communicate with front line employees as well as upper-level management team.
