Business Development Leader Buckeye Construction & Restoration Nashville, TN 37203 Overview The Business Development Leader role is a critical role for the growth of BCR Construction & Restoration. This hybrid role is ideal for a self-starter who is comfortable developing relationships with contractors, facility managers, architects, and engineers. This role focuses on generating new opportunities, managing existing client relationships, and supporting project acquisition efforts across key markets. The successful candidate will be confident navigating construction cycles, RFP/RFQ processes, and value-driven sales conversations. Responsibilities Proactively identify and engage with general contractors, property owners, engineers, and other decision-makers through cold calls, emails, and networking. Promote company capabilities across structural restoration, façade repair, waterproofing, and specialty construction services. Develop and deliver tailored sales presentations, proposals, and prequalification packages to meet project and client needs. Support the preparation of responses to RFPs/RFQs and assist with project tracking from pursuit to award. Maintain regular contact with existing clients to identify repeat business opportunities and build long-term partnerships. Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and professional association functions. Track all sales activity and client interactions in CRM tools, reporting progress toward goals and identifying emerging market opportunities. Collaborate with internal operations, estimating, and marketing teams to align sales efforts with execution strategies.
Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years of sales, business development, or client management experience in construction or related industries (restoration, subcontracting, commercial services, etc.). Familiarity with construction sales cycles, including lead tracking, bid preparation, and client follow-up. Strong understanding of construction terminology, industry players, and procurement processes. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build trust and credibility. Comfortable working independently in a remote capacity, with occasional travel to client sites or industry events.
