Profound Ethos Physicians are the Vanguard All Decisions Improve Patient Care Never Compromise QualityWhy this Role ExistsAs the Director,Business Development, you will serve as the primary customer-facingteam member focused on driving sales pipeline growth and theclosing of new business. The role is critical for driving growthand forging strategic partnerships effectively contributing to theorganization’s growth and success.

You will lead development ofmarket research within your territory, identifying ongoing andplanned clinical trials which benefit from Profound’s access topatients and our physician partner capabilities and expertise. Youwill manage interactions with sponsors and CROs addressing variouslegal, feasibility, budgetary, and proposals as necessary toprogress deals through the sales process. The role may alsorepresent the Commercial team by attending and supporting industryconferences and meetings.

This role will achieve success througheffective identification of market opportunity, constructiveengagement with key sponsor and CRO stakeholders, and efficientcollaboration with Profound feasibility, operational, proposal, andbudget team members.

Responsibilities Identification of key sponsor and CRO stakeholders overseeingstudies and programs which align with Profound capabilities. Overseeing the sales process to ensure timelines andsponsor/CRO expectations are met or exceeded. Track sales activities, communication, and status withinProfound’s CRM, following approved processes. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identifynew business opportunities. Develop and implement business development strategies to drivegrowth and achieve revenue targets. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients,stakeholders, and industry influencers. Prepare and present regular reports on business developmentactivities, performance metrics, and strategic initiatives tosenior management. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements Years of experience in sales and/or sales support. Typically 5+ years of experience in clinical research orrelated field. Typically 5+ years of experience using CRMs such asSalesForce. Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, biology, chemistry orrelated field.

Preferred Qualifications Understanding of clinical trial conduct and/or patientrecruitment. Understanding of pharmaceutical purchasing processes associatedwith clinical operations and recruitment. Utilization of CRM system to produce reports which highlightcommercial pipeline, sales, and activities for clinical trialexecution. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic start-upenvironment, with a willingness to adapt to changing businessneeds. Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive andsolutions-oriented approach. Strong strategic and analytical thinking skills to identifymarket opportunities and develop business strategies. Deep understanding of the life sciences market, includingtrends, key players, and regulatory environment. Excellent networking skills with a strong ability to build andmaintain relationships with industry stakeholders, includingclients, partners, and regulatory bodies. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with theability to present complex information clearly and persuasively todiverse audiences.

Travel RequirementsThis role will be remote oroffice based as able. 30% travel.

Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on acomputer, standing and walking. Must be able to lift 25 pounds at times. Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working, primarily withfingers rather than with whole hand or arm as in handling.

Hearing:
