Salary Range:

This compensation range considers a wide range of factors, including, but not limited to, skill set, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate is not adjusted for the geographic differential associated with the location where the position may be filled. JOB SUMMARY

The Vice President of Finance, Sales Growth & Pricing is the key financial leader and strategist for finance’s support of the Growth/Sales department. This leader oversees financial activities for the growth organization, including pricing, financial analyses, and reporting associated with these areas. Key focuses are managing the financial operations related to sales growth & pricing strategies. The VP works closely with Growth executives and other senior leaders to identify strategic priorities and establish the organization’s strategic pricing plans and objectives to support a high-growth organization. The VP will manage the Sales Finance, and Pricing teams.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Financial Oversight (20%): Manage financial operations related to sales growth and pricing strategies Develop and implement financial plans to support sales growth objectives. Conduct financial analysis to assess the impact of pricing strategies on revenue and profitability. Monitor financial performance and provide regular reports to senior management. Prepare and manage budgets related to sales and pricing initiatives. Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising sales growth. Analyze market trends and competitor pricing to inform pricing strategies. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop competitive pricing models. Evaluate the effectiveness of pricing strategies and adjust as necessary. Develop sales forecasts based on historical data, market analysis, and business objectives. Adjust forecasts in response to market changes and business needs. Provide insights and recommendations to optimize sales performance. Ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations and standards. Identify financial risks related to sales and pricing strategies. Data Analysis (10%): Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth Set clear goals and objectives for data analysis initiatives to support business growth. Provide strategic direction on data-driven decision-making processes. Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in sales data to uncover growth opportunities. Create comprehensive reports and dashboards to present sales data insights. Communicate findings and recommendations to senior leadership and other stakeholders. Work closely with sales, marketing, finance, and other departments to understand data needs. Collaborate with these teams to develop and implement data-driven strategies. Foster a culture of collaboration and data sharing across the organization. Track the effectiveness of implemented strategies and adjust as necessary. Identify potential risks related to sales data and analysis. Budget Management (10%): Develop and oversee growth and expense budgets and initiatives Lead the development of comprehensive growth and expense budgets. Align budget planning with the organization’s strategic goals and objectives. Identify and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality or growth. Develop budgets to support growth initiatives, including new projects and expansions. Assess the financial viability and potential return on investment for growth initiatives. Pricing Strategy (10%): Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop effective pricing strategies Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive pricing strategies. Align pricing strategies with the organization’s overall business objectives and market positioning. Provide strategic direction on pricing initiatives to maximize profitability and market share. Work closely with growth and marketing teams to understand market dynamics and customer needs. Collaborate to develop pricing models that support sales growth and competitive positioning. Conduct thorough market research to understand industry trends, competitor pricing, and customer behavior. Analyze market data to identify opportunities for pricing adjustments and innovations. Stay informed about changes in the market that could impact pricing strategies. Identify potential risks associated with pricing strategies and develop mitigation plans. Sales Budget Management (10%): Develop and oversee sales budgets, ensuring alignment with overall financial goals Monitor and manage sales budget performance, identifying variances and implementing corrective actions. Collaborate with sales leaders to forecast sales budgets based on historical data and market trends. Ensure sales budgets are optimized to support growth initiatives and strategic priorities. Identify opportunities for cost savings within sales budgets without compromising growth objectives. Pipeline Management (10%): Oversee the development and management of the sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting Collaborate with sales teams to identify and prioritize high-potential opportunities within the pipeline. Monitor pipeline performance and provide regular updates to senior leadership. Implement strategies to improve pipeline efficiency and conversion rates. Analyze pipeline data to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks. Develop and maintain tools and processes for effective pipeline management. Sales Performance Analysis (10%): Conduct in-depth analysis of sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement Provide insights and recommendations to optimize sales strategies and enhance revenue growth. Develop and implement performance tracking systems to monitor sales activities and outcomes. Collaborate with sales teams to set performance targets and track progress against goals. Identify and address any issues impacting sales performance, providing strategic solutions. Cross-Functional Collaboration (10%): Work closely with marketing, product, and finance teams to ensure alignment on sales strategies and objectives Foster a collaborative environment to support the development and execution of integrated sales plans. Participate in cross-functional meetings to share insights and drive strategic initiatives. Ensure effective communication and coordination between sales and other departments. Reporting (10%): Provide financial reports and insights to senior leadership Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive financial reporting strategies. Ensure reporting aligns with the organization’s strategic goals and provides actionable insights. Provide strategic direction on financial reporting initiatives to support decision-making. Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial reports. Present financial reports to senior leadership, highlighting key insights and trends. Develop and implement financial models to forecast future performance. Ensure financial reporting complies with regulatory requirements and accounting standards. Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure the integrity of financial reporting. Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and standards. Collaborate with senior leadership to understand their reporting needs and provide tailored insights. Foster a culture of transparency and open communication regarding financial performance.

EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

8-10 years of business and/or industry experience, with 7+ years in a leadership role. Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field (MBA preferred). In-depth professional knowledge and experience in financial operations. Proven track record in strategy and pricing management. Strong analytical skills and ability to evaluate diverse business trends. Ability to mentor and develop high-performing teams. Experience supporting sales and growth organizations from a financial perspective. Understanding of direct costs and Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) to ensure pricing margins are adequate. Experience in developing pricing strategies.

PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position will be performed primarily in the colleague’s home but will also require travel to other sites and include both sedentary and active work. Work-from-home requirements include the colleague’s ability to set up computer equipment within their home office. Travel requirements include the colleague’s ability to move between work locations for client meetings and other field work assignments. Thecolleaguemust be able to remain stationary for extended periods, operate a computer and other office equipment, perform repetitive motions, assess information and files stored electronically, converse with customers, and exchange accurate information. The colleague must be ableto discern text displayed on a monitor and input data into specific fields using a keyboard.
