Sales, Partnerships & Guest Retention Description:

The Business Development Manager – Sales, Partnership & Guest Retention leads all efforts to grow new fleet business accounts, build strategic Car Dealership partnerships, and enhance the guest retention programs that drive long-term engagement, guest loyalty and revenue. This role is essential in helping the company deliver exceptional service to business clients and guests alike, while reinforcing our core company standards. Responsibilities:

The Business Development Manager is responsible for developing and executing sales strategy and tactics focused on acquiring new fleet clients, Car Dealership Partnerships, improving guest retention rates, and otherwise expanding our business-to-business presence. The position supports cross-functional collaboration with site teams, operations, and marketing to ensure seamless implementation of sales and retention initiatives that align with company goals.

Qualifications:

Seven (7) years of experience in business development or B2B sales Two (2) years in a client relationship or account management leadership role Proven experience growing business in a multi-location or multi-state environment CRM system knowledge and experience preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed KPIs and sales goals Strong negotiation and contract management skills Intent to act with integrity, professionalism, and accountability Outgoing, ambitious, and leads interactions with positivity

Position Requirements :
Fleet Account Development:

Identify and pursue new fleet sales opportunities, develop tailored proposals, and negotiate contracts to bring new business into ModWash.

Car Dealership Partnerships:

Build a network of partnership dealerships in the communities where ModWash has a presence.

Guest Retention:

Execute programs that increase guest loyalty and engagement, improve retention rates (churn) across fleet and individual customer segments.

New Business Acquisition:

Build pipelines of potential clients through market research, networking, referrals, and outbound outreach. Lead efforts to convert leads into long-term business relationships.

Sales Strategy Execution:

Execute on sales plans aligned with broader company goals, collaborating with marketing, operations, and finance to ensure seamless implementation.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Partner with internal teams to align offerings, pricing strategies, and service delivery with client expectations and market demands.

Lead Generation & CRM:

Manage the full sales lifecycle using CRM tools, from prospecting through onboarding, tracking performance, and maintaining accurate pipeline data.

Event Participation & Industry Engagement:

Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and community events. Coordinate joint presence with Hutton and ModWash to ensure cohesive brand representation.

Marketing Support:

Work closely with the marketing team to shape campaigns, sales collateral, and promotional strategies that align with sales goals.

Reporting & Analytics:

Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), prepare reports for leadership, and use data insights to adjust strategies and improve outcomes.
