Position Overview:

Inside Sales Manager The Inside Sales Manager is a critical role focusing on generating new business, driving pipeline growth, and fostering customer relationships through strategic sales initiatives. This position emphasizes effective use of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, efficient lead generation, and collaboration with Regional Sales Managers (RSMs). The successful candidate will play a key part in supporting organizational goals, delivering tailored safety solutions, and enhancing customer satisfaction.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Research and identify potential clients within target markets and industries.
  • Initiate outreach through cold calls, email campaigns, and social platforms to engage prospective customers.
  • Qualify leads, assess customer needs, and prepare tailored Build of Materials (BOMs).
  • Track the effectiveness of sales programs and recommend improvements based on ROI and trends.
  • Manage and track incoming leads via phone, email, website, and chat
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to enhance lead-handling processes.
  • Provide accurate forecasting and pipeline reporting using the company’s CRM system.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of BLS products and solutions, including speed enforcement systems, ALPR, red-light cameras, and more.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and deliver presentations to prospective clients
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling to existing accounts.
  • Work closely with RSMs to align sales efforts and share lead insights.
  • Partner with Sales Leadership to establish scalable frameworks for achieving business goals.
  • Assist with sales tools and presentations tailored to client needs.
  • Work with Marketing on the planning and execution of conferences and industry events across the U.

Candidate Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in law enforcement or technology industries.
  • Proven success in a Business Development Representative (BDR) or Sales Development Representative (SDR) role.
  • Familiarity with the electronic security industry (e.g., speed enforcement, ALPR) is highly desirable.
  • Experience with modern sales technologies, including CRM systems
  • Tech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and highly organized.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills. Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of public sector sales cycles and key decision-makers (e.g., police departments, school boards).
  • Prior experience or background in law enforcement and sales is a plus.
KEY RELATIONSHIPS
  • The Inside Sales Manager reports directly to the VP of Sales.

This role works closely with the leadership for Sales, Marketing, Operations, Permitting and Program Management, Finance, the Technology Division, and Agency Operations.
