Full Job Description Job Summary:

We are looking for a professional Sales Executive with experience in business-to-business sales, preferably in architectural elements. Architectural elements are defined as decorative metal elements on buildings, parking garages, arena, convention centers, resorts, casinos, etc. Other examples of these projects would be associated with architectural fins, facade, perforated metal accents, etc. Canopies, trellises, rain screens, wall cladding, column and/or equipment covers and so much more. Whether they are steel, aluminum, glass or other materials; our Jones Sign team and experience is ready to tackle these custom jobs. You will develop and bring these opportunities by educating and showcasing how Jones Sign Company can support the client’s vision through a wide array of design, fabrication and installation services.

Duties and Expectations:

Research and find leads for architectural projects. Sell the above product types or variations thereof to your prospects. It is truly a business development type of field. Your relationships will get you the sale. You will need to work with owners, general contractors, designers, and architects to sell our products. Jones will handle permitting, design, construction drawings, fabrication, and installation. We provide a turnkey experience. Except for Orlando and Las Vegas, the 48 contiguous states are your market.

Education, Experience or Specific Skills:

Associate degree in a related field – marketing, business development, construction management, architectural or structural design. Bachelor’s degree in a similar field is desired. 3+ years of sign sales experience with demonstrated success in business to business selling desired. Capable of working outside of the non-traditional work hours, as is common in sales. Robust ability to analyze options and problem solve the unexpected. Ability to read blueprints and technical documents required; mechanical aptitude is desired. Capable of doing or learning site surveys and field measurements. Sales-related training a plus.
