Position Summary The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) will be responsible for driving sales and margin growth across the United States and Canada within the following markets: Industrial Distribution, OEMs, Hardware Distribution, Agriculture, Marine, and Automotive. This role involves strategic sales planning, relationship development, and execution to expand our footprint and capture new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, results-driven professional with a deep understanding of the industrial and distribution landscape, capable of leading initiatives, building long-term client partnerships, and delivering measurable growth. Key Responsibilities Maintain and grow the existing customer base within assigned markets Achieve and exceed annual sales and margin targets Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities Build and manage strategic relationships with key customers and sales agencies Negotiate contracts and pricing in alignment with corporate margin goals Provide accurate sales forecasting and market insights to support business planning Manage and update market intelligence and customer tracking reports Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to support customer needs and sales initiatives Represent Ideal-Tridon at trade shows, conferences, and customer events Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field (or equivalent experience) Minimum 5 years of B2B sales or sales management experience, preferably with industrial distributors or OEMs Proven track record of success in high-volume, technical, or engineered product sales Strong understanding of strategic sales processes, margin analysis, and market penetration tactics Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); Salesforce and AS400 experience preferred Ability and willingness to travel extensively (up to 60%) Must reside near a major U.S. airport Ideal Candidate Profile Highly driven, competitive, and goal-oriented Strong organizational and time management skills Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain customer relationships Confident and assertive while maintaining professionalism and diplomacy Flexible and adaptable to changing schedules and customer demands Ideal-Tridon Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
