The BDM is responsible and held accountable for consistently increasing revenue through the generation of new business. This is accomplished by prospecting and closing new opportunities as well as leveraging existing relationships. Responsibilities:
- Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
- Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
- Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
- Promote the company’s products/services, addressing or predicting client’s objectives
- Prepare sales contracts, ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines
- Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices, etc.
- Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
- Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
- Develop entry-level staff into valuable team members
- Meet monthly and weekly quotas, ensuring the growth of your branch
Key Success Factors:
- Proven working experience in business development, B2B sales, or otherwise relevant area with a developed sales track record
- Experience in customer support and account management
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software
- Market knowledge and familiarity with service area
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Proven ability to build rapport
- Reliable transportation
