Role:

MemphisVitality Hotel is seeking an experienced Director of Sales to driverevenue growth, maximize profitability, and enhance marketpositioning. This role requires a dynamic, results-driven leaderwith a proven track record in hospitality sales, businessdevelopment, and team leadership. The Director of Sales willoversee all sales functions, lead the sales strategy, establishstrategic partnerships, and implement initiatives to increaseoccupancy and revenue streams.

Responsibilities:

Duties andResponsibilitiesCollaborate with the Corporate Director of Sales todevelop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to drive revenuegrowth across all market segments, including corporate, group,leisure, and events. Cultivate and maintain relationships with keyclients, industry partners, and stakeholders to enhance the hotel’scompetitive positioning. Identify new business opportunities andmarket trends to expand the hotel”s customer base and revenuepotential. Collaborate with leadership to create promotionalcampaigns, sales materials, and branding initiatives that alignwith business objectives. Oversee the negotiation and execution ofcontracts, ensuring favorable terms and compliance with companypolicies. Monitor and analyze sales performance data, providingregular reports and insights to senior management. Represent thehotel at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions togenerate business leads. Work closely with the revenue managementteam to optimize pricing strategies and maximize occupancy. Ensurealignment between sales strategies and operational capabilities todeliver exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications, Skills,Abilities and Experience:

Bachelor”s degree in Business, HospitalityManagement, Marketing, or a related field preferred. Minimum of8-10 years of progressive sales experience in the hospitalityindustry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Strongknowledge of the Memphis market and a well-established network ofindustry contacts preferred. Proven ability to develop andimplement successful sales strategies and drive revenue growth.

Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.

Experience with CRM systems, sales analytics, and digital marketingstrategies. Ability to analyze market trends and data to makeinformed business decisions. Strong organizational and projectmanagement skills. Willingness to travel for industry events andclient meetings as needed.
