This dual-role leader acts as both a revenue generator and client experience specialist—handling everything from prospecting and proposals to planning and execution of events.

Key Responsibilities:
Sales Duties:
Proactively identify, qualify, and solicit new group business (corporate, social, SMERF, government, etc.). Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet or exceed revenue goals. Conduct site tours and maintain strong relationships with meeting planners, travel agents, corporate clients, and local businesses. Negotiate rates and contracts within brand and revenue management guidelines. Maintain accurate records of all sales activities in CRM systems (like Delphi, Opera, STS, or CI/TY).
Catering/Event Management Duties:
Manage all aspects of banquet/catering events—from initial inquiry through post-event follow-up. Collaborate with the kitchen and banquet team to ensure seamless execution of events. Coordinate event logistics such as room layout, F&B selections, AV needs, and timing. Create detailed Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and ensure all departments are aligned. Serve as the on-site point of contact during major events, ensuring client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
Ideal Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience). 2-5 years of experience in hotel sales and/or catering. Strong organizational, communication, and negotiation skills. Ability to multitask under pressure and adapt to changing priorities. Experience with hotel systems (PMS/CRM/Catering platforms). Familiarity with brand standards if part of a franchise or major chain (Hilton, Marriott, IHG, etc.).
