We’re seeking a Business Development Manager to join our Nashville, TN branch. This role is perfect for a results-driven professional who thrives on building strategic client relationships, uncovering new opportunities, and driving revenue growth. What You’ll Do As a Business Development Manager, you will be instrumental in driving revenue, increasing market share, and overseeing the daily sales operations of our Nashville branch. You’ll collaborate across departments, lead key accounts, and help guide the local sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute business development strategies to expand sales and market presence. Identify and aggressively pursue new customer opportunities while growing existing client relationships. Build and manage key accounts, ensuring high customer satisfaction and retention. Support and coach the sales team to meet and exceed branch sales goals. Collaborate with warehouse, operations, and finance teams to align business and logistical goals. Analyze market trends and customer feedback to refine sales tactics and identify growth areas. Monitor financial performance, including sales budgets, accounts receivable, and branch profitability. Meet regularly with the Warehouse Manager to coordinate business and operational strategies. Lead and mentor the local sales team, promoting a collaborative and high-performing culture. Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
What We’re Looking For Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year university preferred (Business or Communications focus a plus).
Skills & Abilities:
Proven ability to identify, prioritize, and close business opportunities. In-depth knowledge of food service packaging and general supply distribution is strongly preferred. Financial acumen to manage profitability and strategically align with company programs. Comfortable using business software and tools; able to adapt to new systems quickly. Must be reliable, safety-conscious, and available for full-time work, including occasional overtime.
Physical Requirements:
