Greets customers warmly, rings up sales transactions accurately, and ensures they feel welcomed and appreciated through friendly, attentive service.
Essential Functions:
1.Ensures World Class donor and customer service, answers phone in three rings, greeting customers within 10 seconds and providing friendly service and information, thanking customers at the end of a sale and inviting them back.2.Acknowledges all customer and employees within a 10 foot radius.3.Operates cash register, receives payments for purchases and records sales and other transactions.4.Balances cash drawers at the end of each shift, ensuring no cash discrepancies exceeding $5.00 over or short after one week of training.5.Encourage customers to donate through the change round up program.6.Checks and cleans dressing rooms.7.Retrieves shopping carts from the parking lot.8.Places apparel and other items for sale on the proper racks and shelves.9.Removes empty hangers from the racks on the sales floor.10.Ensures a clean and empty workstation at the end of each shift.11.Pulls and rotates store merchandise as instructed by supervisor or manager.12.Assists with putting carts of merchandise on the floor.13.Transfers racks from the back room to the sales floor.14.Maintains the image of the sales floor and assists in store housekeeping including daily cleaning of the floor, fixtures, and restrooms.15.Maintains adherence to all company policies and procedures.16.Other duties as assigned.•Skills, knowledge and abilities: (these are required to enable job holder to perform the•
