You’ll handle everything from popping the perfect batch of popcorn and preparing smooth fudge to scooping ice cream and mixing milkshakes—all while ensuring each guest has a fun, friendly encounter at Yabba’s Wacky Snack Shack. Key Responsibilities Customer Engagement Warmly greet every guest, guide them through our menu, and enthusiastically share our most playful flavor suggestions. Offer recommendations for add-ons or custom twists to take their snack experience to the next level. Maintain a lively, welcoming atmosphere, ensuring each customer leaves with a smile and a delicious treat.
Popcorn & Fudge Preparation Popcorn:
Operate our popcorn machine safely and efficiently, focusing on freshness, flavor consistency, and cleanliness.
Fudge:
Assist with preparing fudge, measuring ingredients accurately, mixing them properly, and cutting the final product into appealing shapes. Always follow food-safety protocols and ensure everything meets our high-quality standards.
Ice Cream Scooping & Milkshake Making Ice Cream:
Scoop and serve ice cream with speed, precision, and a sunny disposition; keep flavors labeled and looking inviting.
Milkshakes:
Blend our signature milkshakes using top-notch ingredients—finish them off with fun garnishes that wow our guests. Keep your station clean, well-stocked, and ready for the next order.
Creative Food Creation Unique Snacks:
Assemble our signature treats—beyond popcorn, fudge, and ice cream—by following recipes or suggesting your own tasty twists.
Presentation Skills:
Ensure every order looks picture-perfect, from the drizzle of sauces to the final flourish of sprinkles.
Store Upkeep & Teamwork Cleanliness:
Maintain a tidy workspace, sanitize equipment regularly, and follow all health regulations.
Stock Management:
Keep track of ingredients (kernels, fudge mix, ice cream, toppings) and alert management when supplies run low.
Collaboration:
Jump in to assist teammates—be it taking orders, packaging items, or restocking—especially during peak times.
Open Communication:
Offer ideas and feedback to managers and co-workers, helping us constantly improve both operations and the customer experience.
Qualifications Age Requirement:
Must be 16+ years old.
Experience:
Previous experience in customer service or food service is a bonus, but we love training team members who bring a can-do attitude.
