Pharmacy Cashier Rocky Ridge Drug Co. 3346 Morgan Dr, Birmingham, AL 35216 About Us Rocky Ridge Drug Co. is a locally owned, customer-focused pharmacy serving the Vestavia Hills community with friendly, personalized service. We’re seeking a dependable and friendly Pharmacy Cashier to join our front-end team and help provide a smooth, welcoming experience for every customer. Job Summary As a Pharmacy Cashier, you’ll be the face of our pharmacy—helping customers, ringing up sales, and supporting day-to-day front-end operations. This position does not involve filling prescriptions or processing insurance claims. Key Responsibilities Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner Ring up prescription and over-the-counter sales accurately Answer phones and direct calls to the appropriate team member Help customers locate over-the-counter products Stock and restock shelves and displays Unpack and organize incoming merchandise Maintain clean and organized counters, shelves, and front-end areas Monitor product expiration dates and report low inventory Report customer concerns or issues to the pharmacist as needed Record refrigerator and freezer temperatures Support team efforts and maintain a positive work environment Assist with general clerical tasks as needed Qualifications Must be at least 16 years old Strong customer service and communication skills Basic math and computer skills Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated Able to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs Comfortable bending, reaching, climbing, and squatting frequently Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English Why Work with Us?
