The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our customers while ensuring accurate transactions. This position requires a strong focus on patient care and the ability to work effectively in a pharmacy environment. The Cashier will assist in managing customer interactions, processing payments, and supporting pharmacy operations. Duties Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently at the register. Provide excellent patient service by addressing inquiries and assisting with medication-related questions. Collaborate with pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth operations within the pharmacy. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to aseptic techniques as necessary. Assist in inventory management by restocking shelves and monitoring medication supplies. Support patient care initiatives by providing information on medication administration and usage. Uphold compliance with all health and safety regulations, especially in critical care and acute care settings. Requirements Previous experience as a Cashier or in a similar role is preferred. Knowledge of pharmacy operations and patient service is highly desirable. Familiarity with medication administration processes and critical care environments is a plus. Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills are essential for success in this role. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of patient care. Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in aseptic technique when required.
