Position Overview:

We are currently hiring a dependable, customer-friendly cashier to join our team. This is a 1099 independent contractor position, meaning you are self-employed and responsible for your own taxes.

Minimum Age Requirement:

Due to the sale of alcohol and tobacco products, applicants must be at least 21 years old.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet customers and provide excellent service Operate the register and accurately handle cash/card transactions Check IDs for alcohol and tobacco sales in accordance with Alabama law Keep the store interior clean and organized Maintain a clean parking lot throughout your shift Stock shelves and coolers as needed Track and report out-of-stock items to management Assist with light inventory management

Qualifications:

Must be 21 years of age or older Previous cashier or retail experience preferred Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently Good communication and customer service skills Able to lift and stock items (up to 25 lbs)

Important Note:

This is a 1099 contractor role. You are not considered an employee and will be responsible for your own tax filings. This position does not offer benefits such as health insurance or paid time off.
