As a Cashier, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing fast, friendly, and accurate service at the register. This role is key in delivering a positive customer experience for travelers and truck drivers alike.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service. Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately (cash, credit/debit cards, loyalty programs, etc.). Assist customers with purchases and answer product-related questions. Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies. Maintain awareness of current promotions and upsell products when appropriate. Handle refunds, exchanges, and returns according to company policy. Follow all safety and loss prevention procedures. Collaborate with team members and assist with stocking, cleaning, and other tasks as needed.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous cashier or retail experience is a plus. Basic math and computer skills. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs. Flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
