As a Cashier, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service while efficiently handling transactions. You will be the first point of contact for customers, ensuring a positive shopping experience and maintaining the integrity of cash handling processes. Duties Process customer transactions accurately using a cash register or point-of-sale system. Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments, ensuring all transactions are completed with precision. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly and addressing their inquiries. Assist in managing the flow of customers during peak hours to minimize wait times. Maintain cleanliness and organization at the cashier station and surrounding areas. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations within the store. Perform basic retail math to process transactions and provide change accurately. Support additional duties as needed, such as restocking merchandise or assisting in inventory management.
