EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED AS CASHIER

Handle cash, checks, credit cards and financing Count till (cash) bags at the beginning and end of each shift, verifying that all transactions were done correctly and till balances at the end of each shift Maintain the front office appearance by keeping everything neat and clean File the daily invoices; call the bank on all out of state checks and temporary checks to verify that the checks will clear Call the finance company to verify information on customers account (balance due, account balance, available credit) Copy and match all finance approvals; process special orders and handwritten tickets Take account payments for fabric checkouts or other misc. payments Perform any other duties as directed by management

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS

Ability to repetitively use arms, hands and fingers; computer experience required; basic mathematical skills required; attention to detail; ability to communicate effectively and positively with internal and external customers; knowledge of employment and safety procedures.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIREMENTS

To successfully perform the essential functions of the job, an employee must be able to perform the following: Stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pulling, talking, hearing/listening and repetitive motion.
