The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and a keen interest in menu planning, particularly within a fine dining or catering environment. This role is essential in delivering high-quality meals that meet our guests’ expectations while adhering to food safety standards. Duties Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu plans. Collaborate with the culinary team to develop innovative menu options that reflect current food trends and dietary needs. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Participate in the training of kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and food safety practices. Assist in catering events, ensuring timely preparation and presentation of meals. Maintain equipment and kitchen tools, ensuring they are clean, functional, and safe to use. Requirements Proven experience as a Cook in a restaurant, catering service, or dietary department. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary arts. Familiarity with fine dining standards and practices is preferred. Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
