The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while accurately processing transactions. This role is essential in creating a positive shopping experience for our customers. Team members will also assist with upselling products and maintaining a clean and organized area. We serve ice cream, smoothies, shakes, coffee, and more! Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide assistance as needed. Accurately handle cash, credit, and debit transactions using the register. Process sales quickly and efficiently while ensuring a positive customer experience. Upsell additional products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales. Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and store policies. Ensure the checkout area is clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during the transaction process. Adhere to food safety guidelines when working in kitchen or restaurant environments. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Requirements Strong math skills with the ability to perform basic calculations accurately. Experience in retail or ice cream/ cafe environments is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food safety practices is a plus. Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle busy periods. Ability to upsell products effectively to enhance customer experience. Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor to interact with customers positively. Previous experience in cafe environment/ ice cream shops and customer service is beneficial.
